Srinagar, Mar 29: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) today ordered a change in school timings for the Government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir division.
According to an order issued by DSEK, the new school timings will take effect from April 1, 2025.
Schools within Srinagar municipal limits will operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, while those outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of Kashmir province will follow a schedule from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Institutions have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the order, warning that any deviation will be taken seriously.
