DSK distributes kits to raises awareness on COVID-19

JAMMU, June 18: Dogra Sahayata Kendra (DSK) today handed over SOP kits containing masks, hand sanitizers, soaps, etc to its Kathua and Jammu units for disbursal among local people.
The kits were handed over by Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and chairman, Dogra Sahayata Kendra to Satpal (president of Kathua unit) and Sukhdev Singh of Khour (Jammu unit). The kit also contains pamphlets showing requisite information and guidelines on COVID-19.
Speaking on the occasion, Charak emphasized the need to sensitize the residents of the border area that anyone who develops COVID-19 symptoms should immediately contact the health authorities for getting proper medical advice and treatment.
He also underlined the need to remain in touch with Dogra Sahayata Kendra Jammu for any help or assistance required by any COVID-19 patients in case they are referred to Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu for specialized treatment.
