Sir,
Dogri language is spoken in the region of Jammu and Himachal Pradesh and is an officially language recognized by the Govt of India in Schedule VIII of the Constitution. We have seen DD Bangla, DD Bihar, DD Kashir, DD Punjabi, DD Podhigai etc. But no Duggar Channel for native Dogri speaking people of Jammu. There is a need of the Duggar Channel as it will entertain the people as well as revive the Dogra culture. So, it is my polite request to the J&K Govt. to take up this very important issue seriously with the concerned people and start a Duggar channel. It is the need of the hour. There are a lot of people whether studying or doing job outside the state the people miss Dogri and search for Dogri material on You Tube, but they get disappointed as very little material on Dogri is available on the internet. Ambal channel on Youtube is doing a good job.
In Japan, NHK world provides free Japanese lessons and podcasts to learn Japanese. There should be similar kind of podcasts for Dogri language also. It is a very polite and sincere appeal to I.T. professionals of J&K who are working in multinational companies to start some podcasts for learning Dogri language.
Yours etc…
