JAMMU, May 10: Duggar Manch organised an online poetry recitation programme (Kavi Ghoshthi) to highlight the immeasurable contribution of mothers and to acknowledge their role in building the lives of their children.
Oriya poet Pravasini Mahakud was chief guest on the occasion while Rakesh Verma was resource person.
Duggar Manch president, Mohan Singh in his address said the event was an effort for promoting talent.
The poets who presented their poetry were Mohan Singh, Dr. Sarita Khajuria, Diksha Kaluria, Samvedna Sharma, Svaranterta, Gharo Choudhary, Dr. Surita Sharma, Advocate Naresh Raina, Rohit Sharma (Mantoo), Dr. Shushma Rani, Dr. Shushma Choudhary and Dr. Shweta Awasthi
The participants, through their presentations, elaborated the role of a mother in one’s life.
