Duke Fashions qualifies for ‘National Productivity & Innovation Award’

JAMMU, Feb 9: Duke Fashions (India) Limited, a lifestyle brand, has qualified for the “National Productivity and Innovation Award” for the year 2014-15 in textiles and garments sector.
The Award will be given by Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to Komal Kumar Jain, Chairman Duke Fashions (India) Limited, in NPI Award Presenting Ceremony, which will be held on February 22, 2016 at New Delhi.
Kuntal Raj Jain, Director Duke Fashions (India) Limited said, “It is imperative that we recognize today’s successes as a milestone toward productivity and innovation. The range of latest technology, knowledge and services enables the organization to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness and agility in quality and broader business operations. He stated that the award will act as a morale booster and catalyst for Duke to strive hard to achieve even higher levels of productivity and innovation and to become active partners in the Make in India campaign of the Government. Make in India is an international marketing campaigning slogan coined by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to attract businesses from around the world to invest and manufacture in India. The campaign has been concentrated to fulfill the purpose of Job Creation, Enforcement to Secondary and Tertiary sector, Boosting national economy, Coverting the India to a self-reliant country and to give the Indian economy global recognition, he maintained.
