KISHTWAR, Aug 23: Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited provided 1000 notebooks to inmates of Bal Ashram, Kuleed, Kishtwar, under Corporate Social Responsibility-Sustainable Development Scheme of NHPC Limited.
The material was handed over during a simple function which was presided over by Arvind Bhat, general manager, Dulhasti in the presence of Bipin Gupta, Chief Engineer and S K Parihar, Sr Manager (Law), NHPC, Kaiser Bhawani, Distt. Social Welfare Officer, Kishtwar, Officers of NHPC/ Distt Social Welfare Deptt. and inmates of Bal Ashram, Kishtwar.
Pertinent to mention that the inmates of Bal Ashram, Kuleed, Kishtwar include orphans, destitutes and militancy victims.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhat advised the inmates of Bal Ashram to devote whole heartedly to their studies which would pay them in the long run.
