Dulloo inaugurates national level cancer conference “CRABECON”

JAMMU, Sept 7: CRABECON, a national level conference was inaugurated by Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education, Atal Dulloo, here today.
The conference was organized by Lajawanti Bhagatnath Radiations of Hope in collaboration with Government Medical College, Kathua and AROI North Zone. This was fifth conference organized by Lajawanti Bhagatnath Radiations of Hope.
A galaxy of oncologists all over the India, some of whom are of international repute, attended the conference, during which cancer awareness message was circulated among the masses. “Ek Aur Parmarsh”, another consult was organized for cancer patients by LBN Radiations of Hope during which doctors of national and international repute gave their consultation to the patients.
LBN Radiations of Hope financially supported treatment of some cancer patients. On the occasion, the first international journal of integrated cancer sciences “The Indian Journal of Cancer Sciences” was also inaugurated by the chief guest, Atal Dulloo.
To mark the occasion, The LBN Kark Charak- The Annual Award of LBN ROH was awarded to two world renowned oncologists, Dr Anil D’ Cruz, president elect, UICC and Dr Shyam Shrivastava, president, FARO.
While speaking on the occasion, Atal Dulloo highlighted the importance of such conferences in knowledge sharing and providing the platform for upliftment of academics for faculty. He asked the doctors to work with more missionary zeal for the betterment of patient care.
Among others present on the occasion were Principal, GMC Kathua and patron of organizing committee, Dr Suleman Choudhary, Dr Deepak Abrol (organizing secretary), chairman, LBNROH, Prof KB Abrol, Director Health Services, Dr Sameer Mattoo, Director, new Medical Colleges, Dr Yashpal Sharma and Principal, GMC Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina.
