Jammu, July 13: Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, J&K, Atal Dulloo today released newsletter of GMC & its Associated Hospitals, Jammu.
The newsletter is a mirror reflection of all sorts of activities undertaken by an Institution in the form of holistic progress in the area of academic, cultural and sports activities, and infrastructural development and capacity building.
The Financial Commissioner congratulated Principal & Dean, Dr. Sunanda Raina on the occasion for the release of newsletter and advised that the copy of this should be sent to all other premier institutions and it should be made a regular affair.
He lauded the Editorial Board comprising Dr. Anjali Nadir Bhat, Dr. Mukta Jitendra, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Dr. Nusrat Jabeen, Dr. Sandeep Dogra and Dr. Kailash Singh for coming up with this newsletter.
Dr. Sunanda Raina, on the occasion, said that this newsletter shall be now onwards a regular affair. She further said that during her tenure, she has tried her best to encourage an equitable balance between academics and extracurricular activities which include cultural, sports and interaction with medical students.
“The promotion of research activities which follows the norms of ethics both in the field of human as well as animal remained my motive”,.
She said and maintained that there always remain a scope to improvise and modernize the working of the institution.
