JAMMU, Sept 30: Gangyal Police seized duplicate bags of JK Wall Putty.
As per police sources, a complaint was received today at Police Station Gangyal from the JK Cement through authorized representative stating therein that some person/firm were indulged in manufacturing, marketing, distributing, sticking and selling counterfeit of M/s JK Cement Limited Brand.
Acting over the complaint, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma raided at the of M/s Bombay Paints and Chemical Product at Industrial Estate Gangyal in presence of Executive Magistrate and recovered 231 empty bags of JK Wall Putty and 18 marked with Jay Kay Wall Putty bags. All the bags were seized on the spot.
On this, a case FIR Number 115/2022 under sections 420, 483 and 486 IPC 103 and 104 Trademark Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
