JAMMU, May 8: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by its president Roshan Lal Raina met Chief Engineer M&RE and demanded that the 250 kv transformer lying over ground in Durga Nagar be shifted and installed properly so that there is no apprehension of any catastrophe especially during the coming Monsoons.
The delegation also demanded installation of 400 kv transformer in the area as per the revised load so that the people don’t face power crisis especially on peak hours.
The delegation also made an appeal to Chief Engineer PHE to make the sump functional for proper water supply in Durga Nagar and it urged the authorities that park in the area be fenced immediately.
