Durga Nagar Committee submits memorandum to Secy Relief

JAMMU, July 23: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by its president Roshan Lal Raina submitted a memorandum to Secretary Relief and Rehabilitation, Simrandeep Singh highlighting various issues of displaced people.
The memorandum demanded issuance of appointment order for 52 waiting list teachers and statistical assistants under PM package as there is no RBA candidate in exiting list.
It said instead of 20 percent RBA reservations only 10 percent seats can be reserved as per SRO 127.
The memorandum said the file of these candidates is gathering dust in Civil Secretariat. It urged Secretary Revenue and Relief to take up the issue with higher ups in the Government and save the future of these candidates who are suffering with mental agony and are in great desperation.
The Committee has also demanded augmentation of Bantalab Receiving Station so that the power supply in the areas fed by it is improved. It demanded that the power supply in the Sector 3 Durga Nagar be improved as people are facing lot of hardships due to interruptions in power supply.
