JAMMU, Mar 29: A delegation of Durg Nagar Welfare Coordination Committee led by Sanjay Ganjoo, Behari Lal Raina, M.K. Razdan and Chaman Lal Dhar met Executive Engineers PDD, PHE Civil and Mechanical, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to highlight the problems faced by the inmates of Durga Nagar/ Dogra Nagar in Ward 64.
Earlier the delegation met Executive Engineer, PDD regarding the Feeder (100 KVA Transformer) at new Tubewell at Rajinder Nagar for the areas of Durga Nagar/Dogra Nagar. As now everything has been completed and to start functioning of Tubewell only installation of Feeder is pending. The Executive Engineer assured the work will be started soon as the process of transfer of funds from PHE Department has been started. Earlier delegation met Executive Engineer, PHE Civil and Mechanical and requested them for transfer of funds to PDD so that process of installation of feeder will be done speedily.
Later, the delegation met R&R Commissioner, Dr.Arvind Karwani and highlighted problems faced by inmates of Ward-64 regarding Ayushman Cards. Dr. Karwani assured that there will be uniform rates for all Ayushman cards.
Soon notification will be issued by the Department in this regard, he added.
