Durga Nagar delegation calls on RRC

JAMMU, Aug 31: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee headed by Roshan Lal Raina its president today called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, T K Bhat and presented a memorandum highlighting the demands of the people of Durga Nagar to him.
As per a release, the delegation demanded establishment of a Zonal Office at Durga Nagar for settlement of bifurcation, domicile certificates issues, inclusions, issuance of migration certificates and other issues.
The delegation also demanded issuance of quarters to poor families putting up in rented accommodations as they can’t afford the payment of rent.
Earlier the delegation also met Executive Engineer, Division Third PDD and demanded settling of the problems of the people being supplied electricity from Bantalab Grid Station. It also demanded bifurcation of F2 Feeder at Roop Nagar and deputing of another lineman in Durga Nagar as the area is very large and one lineman is unable to look after it.
