JAMMU, Dec 26: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Coordination Committee here today met Executive Engineer PHE, Chief Medical Officer (Jammu) and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M).
From Executive Engineer, the delegation sought information about the status of laying of pipes from new Tube Well to OHT Durga Nagar and the Executive Engineer assured that DI pipes will be provided on January 6, 2025.
He also informed the delegation that the new motor installed at Muthi village Pumping Station will be functional within 1-2 days.
Before the CMO, the delegation highlighted the shortage of staff and laboratory facilities at UPHC Durga Nagar and the CMO assured to look into the matter.
The delegation also met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) and submitted him a memorandum highlighting the problems being faced by KPs in getting Ayushman Cards.
Sanjay Ganjoo, Behari Lal Raina, M.K Razdan and Chaman Lal Dhar were present in the delegation.
