JAMMU, May 27: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by its president Roshan Lal Raina today called on Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Jammu.
The delegation informed him that all the developmental works are pending in the area due to delay in formation of estimates despite the fact that clear cut instructions were given by Commissioner JMC that estimates be framed at an earliest.
Seeking intervention of Joint Commissioner the delegation urged him to issue directives to concerned engineers for preparation of estimates.
The delegation also met the Chief Transport Officer (CTO) and demanded that proper sanitation be maintained in the area.
It demanded deployment of gangmen for cleanliness.
