JAMMU, June 6: Durga Nagar and its adjoining areas are facing acute water scarcity for over last fortnight. In a statement the representatives of Durga Nagar Sector One and Sector Two as well as Dogra Nagar said that the acute water crisis in the area have added to the problems of people in this scorching Summer heat when consumption of water increases considerably.
The representatives of the area including Bihari Lal Raina, Sanjay Ganjoo, M K Razddhan said that they took up the issue with PHE authorities number of occasions but to no avail. They warned to launch agitation in case immediate steps are not taken to improve the water supply to the area.
