JAMMU, Jan 6: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by Roshan Lal Raina its president called on Chief Secretary B B Vyas here and highlighted the problems of the people of area before him.
The delegation informed the CS that due to non availability of matador service in their area for over last one year.
The Chief Secretary asked the Commissioner Secretary Transport that an immediate action be taken in the matter, a handout issued by the Committee said. Later, the delegation called on Commissioner Secretary Transport who issued directives to RTO Jammu that immediate action be taken in this matter.
The delegation also met the SSP Traffic Jammu who also assured that the problems faced by the people of the area on account of lack of transport facilities will be redressed soon.
