JAMMU, May 22: In Dutta Finance Company scam, the Crime Branch Jammu has succeeded to arrest one of the proprietors of the firm after a series of raids.
The arrested accused has been identified as Gurbachan Singh Dutta son of Ravail Singh Dutta of Nanak Nagar Jammu. He is being subjected to sustain questioning to ascertain the involvement of other accused in the case and recover relevant records in this connection.
According to the Crime Branch, efforts were afoot to collect more evidences and arrest the remaining accused, including main kingpin of the scam, Harpal Singh Dutta.
Pertinent to mention that most of the bank accounts and moveable as well as immovable properties belonging to Dutta Financiers have already been seized.
