Dutta wins ‘Nritya Samrat-15’ title in Rangotsav

JAMMU, June 30: Nrityashree Deepak Dutta, a renowned classical dancer from J&K won the title of ‘Nritya Samrat-15’ for his outstanding contribution in performing arts (dance), in Rangotsav-2015 organized by Lok Kala Manch Ghaziabad (UP) from June 21 to 24.
A total of 29 performers with their troupes participated in this dance festival. Nrityashree Dutta, who is son of Shashi and Vinod Dutta, represented J&K in this event. He performed ‘Sur Ke Ghunghroo’, which was highly applauded and appreciated by the audience, cultural troupes and dance critics. For his spectacular performance he was ranked as ***** (five stars).
Famous dance personalities like Angeetha Majumdaar (Assam), Dr Parvati G Subbalaxmi (Kerela), Ricky Rox (Arra Bihar), Malti Thakur and Sukriti Thakur (Luckhnow), Sher Singh and Daler Singh (International Bhangra coaches from Punjab) and many other graced the occasion by their presence and stunning performances by them and their troupes.
