DWA holds function “Connect children with their roots”

NEW DELHI, Jan 14: Romesh Khajuria, Chairman, Wool & Woolens Export Promotion Council, (WWEPC) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and Chairman, JK Wool Development & Marketing Association today urged the members of Dogra community putting up outside J&K to provide opportunities to their children to remain connected with their roots .
This was stated by Khajuria while speaking in a programme organised by Dogra Welfare Association (DWA) at South Avenue in New Delhi- the second Dogra Male-Milaap programme. This is a common platform where people from Jammu settled in Delhi & NCR come together and celebrate Lohri and Makar Sakranti .
During the get-together an impressive cultural programme was presented by the renowned artists Jitender Singh Jamwal, Dhiraj Sharma, Neha, Madhu Sharma and other artists on the stage.
Romesh Khajuria complemented the Organising Committee for conducting successful event and for bringing Jammu Dogras together on a platform.
Prominent present in the programme were Raman Kesar, Sudesh Dogra, Balwant Singh Billowria, Surjeet Singh Guleria, Akhil Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Kanchan and others.
