RAJOURI, Oct 14: Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council Javed Ahmed Rana today addressed a public meeting at Rajouri wherein a large number of people, Sarpanchs and Panchs participated.
The Deputy Chairman also visited the residence of two students who were kidnapped and subsequently killed by unknown persons. He expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families and assured them justice and appropriate compensation.
Mr. Rana stressed upon the administration to conduct immediate enquiry into the matter and bring culprits to book. He listened to the grievances of the people and assured to address these on priority.
Later, the Deputy Chairman visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah and paid his obeisance there. He prayed for the peace and welfare of the State.
