JAMMU, Apr 29: On the directions of Rashtriya Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna , party president, Ravinder Raina and Sangathan Mantri, Ashok Koul, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC conducted complete sanitation drive and disinfectant spray drive of Ward No. 01 in which disinfectant spray was done on roads and buildings including the office of the Inspector General of Police, Police Station Pacca Danga and Police Post, Panjtirthi in order to ensure the safety of Corona warriors as well as local public from the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic.
Adv. Purnima Sharma, said that in the present hour of crisis, much needed service is being provided by the Corona warriors to us so that we all can remain safe at our homes. She said that it is our duty to raise their morale and honour their services as they are contributing for our concern. She said that everyone of us must do our bit in this long battle against the Corona virus.
Deputy Mayor said that we all should help our fellow beings by aiding the needy or even ensuring of essential commodities to everybody. She said that the Corona Pandemic has crippled global resource supply and a major chunk of population is feeling restlessness to acquire the basic amenities at the time.
Adv. Purnima Sharma, said that it is duty of everyone of us to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, she insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily. She simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies and to cooperate to check the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The sanitation drive was conducted in the presence of Gulshan, Rajneesh (sanitary supervisors) along with their team of health officials including ShubhLata Sharma (State Executive Member), Suresh Bharti (Mandal Secretary East), Ved Prakash Padha (mandal office secretary), Gopal Sanotra (Mandal office secretary), Sunita Wazir (Mahila Morcha Mandal general secretary), Varinder Verma , Gopal , Anuradha, Deepak Kumar, team of booth presidents, Ward presidents and other prominent members of the Ward were also present.
