JAMMU, Sept 5: Continuing with more development works, Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria today dedicated newly constructed lane and drains in Ekta Vihar.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that this was a long pending demand of the local residents, which has been fulfilled.
The Deputy Mayor said that people in Ekta Vihar had to face a lot of difficulties due to the lack of concrete roads. Due to which women, old people and children used to fall and get injured and there was a problem of waterlogging in the surrounding areas, he added. Now completion of the construction work will have a positive impact on people’s lives and they too will be able to live in their developed area like other areas.
Baldev Singh Billawaria said that the Government is continuously working under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to provide basic facilities to the common man and to improve the standard of living. He said that development works are continuing in Jammu city and continuous steps are being taken by the Government in the interest of the public.
The Deputy Mayor further said that the Municipal Corporation was committed to provide better infrastructure and other basic amenities to the people of Jammu city. The people of the area assured full support to the BJP in the upcoming elections. On this occasion, Mandal President Ranjit Singh, Pawan Chib, Jugal Kishore, Krishna Kumar, Rakesh Sangral, Om Nath, Nikish Bhasin, Manjit Singh, Rajinder Singh (Popy), Ajmer Chib, Govinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Captain Roop Singh, Harvinder Singh and Raghu Singh were also present.
