Dy Mayor meets patients, staff at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital

JAMMU, Feb 19: Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria here today visited Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Nanak Nagar and interacted with patients and staff of the Hospital.
He took a detailed assessment of services being provided to the patients and inspected various sections and Wards of the Hospital.
Billawaria said that Guru Nanak Mission Hospital is providing lab, physiotherapy, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, ambulance and other facilities to the patients.
He said that the Hospital will soon provide specialized health care services to the people of Jammu at an affordable price.
The Deputy Mayor also said that the Hospital is equipped with latest medical technology and has highly qualified team of doctors and paramedical staff.
He said that the Hospital is serving the people by expanding its facilities which is a good initiative.
Director of the Hospital, Jasbir Singh informed the Deputy Mayor that more than 150 patients visit the Hospital daily for treatment and some medicines are given to them totally free of cost which is a specialty of the Hospital.
Billawaria appreciated the efforts of the Hospital in curing the ailing people and hoped that Guru Nanak Mission Hospital will continue to serve the ailing mankind.
He assured all possible help from Jammu Municipal Corporation so that people can get better facilities from this Hospital.
