JAMMU, Aug 5: Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria here today started the work of tiles and drains at Ward number 45 in Digiana area.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said with the start of the work today the long pending demand of the people has been fulfilled.
He informed that few days back during a visit to the area the locals informed him that they were facing water logging problem.
The Deputy Mayor also said that the work started today will be executed by JMC and the local body has to get all the development works done afresh on which the previous government had wasted money like water.
Billawaria said that JMC is ensuring total quality of work in Jammu city and it will give relief to the people for decades.
He appealed to the youth to make new Voter Cards and informed that on August 6 and 10, special camps are being organised at the booths and all BLOs will be present there.
“Anyone who has any error in Voter Card can also get it rectified by visiting the booth,” he further said.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Satpal Choudhary, Vinod Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Shakuntala Devi and others.
