JAMMU, Nov 8: Deputy Secretary Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, Sonu Pargal today visited panchayat Smailpur of district Samba under the ongoing B2V5 programme.
He visited the Panchayat Ghar Smailpur and participated in the multipurpose public camp organized at Panchayat Ghar.
The visiting officer held discussions with the officials of various line departments and interacted with PRI members namely Balwant Singh Manhas Sarpanch Smailpur; Naib Sarpanch & Panches of various wards wherein impact of B2V1 to B2v4 was discussed. Diksha Bamba, Tehsildar Bari Brahmana was also present in the meeting.
The officials of the line departments apprised the PRI members and the general public about the various deliverables of the department. The visiting officer during the interaction laid special focus on PM Garib kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM PRANAM, KCC and other related schemes. Public was also made aware that 1075 online services are being offered by various departments.
Visiting Officer urged the public for active participation in these programmes and to avail the maximum benefits of different Government schemes. Pledge of integrity was also administered to all those present in the meeting. He urged those present to make all out efforts for Nashamukt, Bhrashtracharmukt, Rozgaryukt J&K. Prabhari Officer gave patient hearing to the deliberations held with the PRI members & general public.
During the field visit, he visited Khidmat Centre,inspected incomplete building/projects and had interaction with teachers and students at Government Middle School Smailpur.
Later, Sonu Pargal along with CEO Samba Kewal Krishan & Principal Poonam Langeh, distributed uniforms and shoes to needy students at Government Higher Secondary School Smailpur.
