Dynastic parties threat to democracy: PRP

JAMMU, Nov 29: Terming the nexus among the dynastic rulers as a threat to flourishing of democracy in the State, Jammu Kashmir Peoples Republican Party (PRP) today said that both National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are playing a fixed match for six years.
Talking to reporters here, PRP candidates from Kashmir Valley said that both NC and PDP are worried and unable to contest PRPs governance agenda. They appealed the people State in general and Kashmiri Pandits in particular to teach both these parties a lesson.
The press conference was jointly addressed by PRP senior functionary Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sofi and Party candidate from Sangrama Constituency in Baramulla district, Ghulam-ud-Din Gulshan , Party candidate from Baramulla Assembly Segment, G M War Party candidate from Apple town of Sopore in Baramulla district and Kulbushan Kaw advocate and Party candidate from Wachi Constituency in South Kashmir district of Pulwama.
The Party created a sensation in entire Valley by hosting a first ever mammoth public rally in Srinagar in which a large number of workers participated which was addressed by renowned Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, they added.
Maintaining that NC is a sinking boat the PRP candidates urged the members of displaced community not to ride on this sinking boat. Lambasting PDP they said the Party is an instrument that sowed the seeds of hatred by polarizing Kashmiri society.
They while highlighting the Party manifesto said PRP is committed to transparent and accountable system, the Party will promote and strengthen the pluralism and diversity in the State the core objective of the Party is to make State corruption free, to provide transparent and accountable system, strive for empowerment of youth, create new economic order and probe into all scams of last two decades.
Another PRP leader Mr Gulshan said that PRP is the party which has given mandate to one Pandit, one Sikh and one low cast Muslim Sheikh from Kashmir Valley and party stands for a smart city for all displaced Pandtis, Minority status to Pandits, Sikhs and Christians and removal of all encroachments from Pandits property.
