JAMMU, Feb 8: Home Department today ordered demotion of incharge DySP (Executive) to the rank of Inspector and change of cadre of an IPS officer from Jammu to Kerala.
According to an order issued by Home Department, incharge DySP (Executive) Vishal Shoore had taken benefit of SC and ALC categories and misled the Police Department by suppression of facts. The DySP has been demoted to the rank of Inspector and DGP has recommended for departmental enquiry against him and cancellation of stop-gap placement.
Meanwhile, Principal Secretary, Home Department has relieved Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar from IPS cadre of J&K with a direction to report to the Government of Kerala.
