KATHUA, Aug 3: The SSP Kathua Mohan Lal has constituted a team headed by DySP Headquarters, Kathua to probe the stone pelting incident of late last night on National Highway at Magar Khud near Hatli.
The SHO Lakhanpur and Police Post Incharge Hatli will be the other members of the team who will assist DySP in investigations. The team after through investigation will submit the report to SSP Kathua. The Police which cordoned the area and launched a man hunt to arrest the miscreants responsible for the act said that investigations are on. However no arrest has been made so far.
The SSP Kathua said that it can be a work of some miscreants who targeted the vehicles on National Highway late last night. Four vehicles including yatri buses and a trala were attacked by stone pelters at Magar Khud late last night. One lady pilgrim was also injured in the stone pelting.
