JAMMU, June 12: Bharatiya Janata Party, J&K Head/Incharge, Information Technology Department, Advocate Ishant Gupta today said that the Government’s decision for the implementation of e-Office to digitalise all the files/records of all departments in the Civil Secretariat will save taxpayers’ money every year which is required to be incurred on physical shifting of records during darbar move.
Gupta said that a huge amount of taxpayers’ money was spent in the shifting process during ‘Darbar Move’ but digitalization all the records and files of Civil Secretariat will definitely save time, fasten work, and also save taxpayers money. He said it is for the first time that all the files have been digitalized and have been put in e-Office mode which is available for both Jammu as well as Srinagar offices in Civil Secretariat.
The BJP leader hoped that with this implementation of e-Office and the availability of records in all the offices in Civil Secretariat of both regions all the time, the offices will definitely going to operate from both regions simultaneously and this will definitely be a sigh of relief for the people of J&K.
