BHADERWAH, Apr 9: Five persons were injured here today in a road accident on Jai-Bhaderwah road after an E-rickshaw they were travelling in after skidded off the road near Shopian and landed in a gorge.
The injured were travelling from Bhaderwah to Balote after Eid shopping and three of them were shifted to SDH Bhaderwah while two were referred to GMC Doda for treatment.
Police has identified the injured persons as Mohd. Yasir, 15, son of Gussul Din, resident of Balotelli, Bhaderwah; Sumhra Banoo, 17 yrs, daughter of Gussul Din; Nazima Begum, 35, wife of Gussul Din; Anayat Hussain, 50, son of Abdul Gani and Rubie Bagum, 45, wife of Anayat Hussain.
All the injured were from Balotelli, Bhaderwah.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
