JAMMU, Nov 28: In order to ensure the safety of general public, today, a special traffic drive was launched against the violators in different locations of Jammu city.
During the drive, 36-e-rickshaws, 12-two wheelers and two School vans were seized for different violations at different locations of Jammu city under M V Act.
General Publlic is advised to adhere the traffic rules and regulation and not to drive without valid driving license to avoid action against them. Further the drivers of auto-rickshaw’s are advised to carry valid documents and also abstain from overcharging to avert action under M.V Act, SSP Traffic City Fiesel Qureshi said.
He apprised the public that such drives against violators shall continue in future and also warned the motorist who are tampering/hiding their number plates to abstain from such activities otherwise strict action under law shall be initiated against them.
