JAMMU, Mar 27: BJP National general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the echoes of unity and progress are now resonating across Kashmir as two Hurriyat-affiliated groups – J&K Tahreeqi Isteqlal and J&K Tahreek-i-Istiqamat – have renounced separatism and embraced the vision of a unified Bharat.
Terming this development as a monumental step towards lasting peace and integration in Jammu & Kashmir, Chugh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, for fostering unity, peace, and development in the region. He emphasized that the rejection of separatist ideologies reflects the success of the Government’s relentless efforts to restore normalcy and inclusivity in J&K.
“Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah, the region has witnessed unprecedented socio-economic development, the strengthening of democratic institutions, and a renewed sense of hope among its people,” Chugh stated.
He further highlighted the deepening spirit of nationalism in Kashmir, describing the shift as a significant victory for unity and a testament to the people’s growing trust in the Government’s vision. He also reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to ensuring continued progress and full integration of J&K into the national mainstream.
“As the echoes of unity and progress reverberate across Kashmir, this historic transformation marks the beginning of a new era of peace, stability, and development,” Chugh concluded.
