JAMMU, Apr 25: With the intention to revitalise J&K Economics Services, a meeting of J&K Economics Services (Gazetted) Officers was held at Civil Secretariat here.
The meeting discussed all the emergent challenges being confronted by the cadre and also strategize the framework for future line of action.
The meeting unanimously passed the resolution for constitution of J&K Economics Services (Gazetted) Officers Association and accordingly it was affirmed through resolute vote that formal elections for various positions of the Association will be held at the earliest possible date after reopening of Civil Secretariat at Srinagar.
Till such elections are held, an interim body was constituted through voice vote, which will work on the issues related to the cadre.
