JAMMU, Feb 28: Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (ECPFWA) highlighted their demands in a press conference held here today.
Addressing the press conference, Darshan Kumar Chauhan, general secretary of the Association, demanded similar benefits to the BSF, ITBP and NSG as to other Defense Forces, framing of separate Armed Forces Services and Pension rules and exemption from New Pension Scheme.
Chauhan also stressed upon granting One-Rank-One-Pension (OROP), CSD Canteen facilities instead of Central Police benefits to Central Paramilitary Forces, besides providing them proper medical treatment facilities at district level and extending all post retirement benefits on declaration of Ex-CAPF status similar to Defense forces ex-servicemen/widows and dependents.
He also demanded restoration of stopped pension or granting pension to BSF personnel resigned under BSF Rule 19 as per assurance/clarification of MHA and BSF authorities, paramilitary service pay (PMSP) to serving CPMF personnel similar to MSP (Pensionable).
During the conference, the members also demanded appointment of a high level committee headed by a retired judge to study and recommend the entire problems faced by CPMF serving/retired CPMF personnel by making appropriate act, rules and regulations through appropriate platforms.
It was also stressed upon to grant First ACP to Head Constable and 2nd ACP to Constable to the post of Sub-Inspector in accordance with original scheme of ACP 1999 as the same has been kept pending by the BSF.
