EDB celebrates 36th foundation day

JAMMU, July 16: Ellaquai Dehati Bank celebrated its 36th foundation day with great enthusiasm and fervour, here today.
The main function was held at its Head Office in Srinagar.
Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Special Secretary Finance, Govt of J&K was the chief guest on the occasion. One day capsule course was organized by EDB Learning Centre Srinagar for the newly recruited Officers and Office Assistants.
Speaking on the occasion, A K Razdan, Chairman of the Bank said that the progress trajectory of the Bank is improving and more and more customers are identifying themselves with the Bank, adding that the Bank is providing services to its customers with a smile.
He further said that in order to provide better facilities to the customers, Bank continues to introduce new assets and liability products.
Speaking on the occasion, Shakeel-ul-Rehman said that there is a vast opportunity of growth in the financial sector and RRBs can play an important role in providing hassle free credit to the rural population.
It is pertinent to mention here that the modern banking technology project introduced by the Bank has already been made available at the all the business centers even functioning in the remotest corner of our area of operation.
The General Manager (GB) and other Senior Head Office functionaries were present at the function.
The foundation day was also celebrated at Regional Office, Srinagar, Anantnag and Jammu.
