JAMMU, Jan 1: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) organized an awareness camp at Village Mattu – Chhamb Jourian in collaboration with Chief Executive Officer Jammu & Kashmir Milk Producers Cooperative Ltd (JKMPCL).
The camp was organized under the leadership of Chairman EDB Parminder Bharti.
Regional Manager EDB, Ashok Kumar Koul along with Branch Manager Purkhoo branch explained in detail all the simplified modalities involved in dairy farming and the financing facility provided by the Bank.
CEO of JKMPCL Mayank Tiwari highlighted the services provided regarding mechanized automatic system of procurement of milk from the natives of the village along with other allied facilities for people involved in dairy farming.A large number of farmers attended the awareness camp.
Participants were apprised about various Government of India schemes like PMJDY, PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojna, PM Suraksha Beema Yojna , Atal Pension Yojna and Various Mudra schemes. Participants were enjoined upon to avail benefits from all of these schemes announced by Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi.
Another similar camp was organised by the Bank at Udhampur, in which a large number of people participated. While inaugurating the camp chief guest, Lead District Manager, V K Sharma, appreciated the Bank’s initiative for organizing such camps. Various schemes offered by the Bank in Deposit, advances portfolios were explained to the gathering including formation of JLGs and SHGs by Veer Ji Raina district Coordinator, who also presented vote of thanks.
