JAMMU, July 11: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) Doda in collaboration with NABARD organized a financial literacy camp in village Jijote. The camp was organized in connection with the Government of India’s financial inclusion programme.
It was attended by DDM, NABARD Rajesh Badyal, district Coordinator ED Bank, Sunil Bhat, LDM Doda representative, Fahim Raja, Sarpanch Rajesh Kumar and a large number of local people.
Inaugurating the camp DDM NABARD, Rajesh Badyal apprised the villagers about the schemes of Kissan Credit Card (KCC), Farmers Club, Joint Library group, Women Self Help Group. He informed them about the hassle free credit linkages available to all such groups at very affordable interest rates.
