JAMMU, Oct 5: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) signed an agreement with Weizmann Forex Ltd for Western Union Money Transfer for business tie up.
The agreement was signed by General Manager, DN Bhat on behalf of Bank and by Vivek Kumar, senior Assistant, Vice President on behalf of Western Union-Weizmann in the presence of SA Qureshi, General Manager, (GB).
Speaking on the occasion, Bhat said that it will be one more product in the services of the customers. He said Bank continues to bring new products in its services list so as to bring the prosperity to the people of State. He said, it is safest and easiest and fastest mode of money transfer from anywhere in the world to any part of the State, as the person to whom the money is send, will receive it within minutes.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Kumar said that this mode of money transfer is within the regulatory formalities of RBI and is done under the world class security system.
