Addressing different rallies at Bhamag and Dakbunglow of Reasi district, while leading the Haq-Insaaf Yatra, started for separate Jammu State, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that innocent people of this hilly district were deliberately neglected by Kashmir as well as Central leaders and divided them on the name of caste, religion and debarred them on development front. He appealed the youth of Reasi district that time has come to rise above politics of religion and launch a struggle for their legitimate right for development and employment.
While addressing a wrestling competition at Sujandhar of Reasi district, Mankotia said that the time has come to teach lesson to those parties who used to divide people on the name of religion for their political future and deprived them of holistic development of this hilly district. “This district has potential of eco-tourism and hilly terrain for tracking but unfortunately this area remained neglected by successive State and Central Governments,” he regretted.
The NPP president reiterated that holistic development of this hilly district is only possible after achieving the status of separate Jammu State.
On the occasion, he inducted more than 100 new delegates in party fold and invited these delegates for meeting on 9th of September at party headquarter for election process of the JKNPP.
