UDHAMPUR, May 24: Up in arms against non-compliance of Director School Education’s order for detachment of teaching staff from offices, Education Department Clerical Staff Association with support of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association today went on pen down strike and held a protest against CEO Udhampur .
The protest demonstration in front of CEO Office Udhampur, was organized under the leadership of Mool Raj Chanayal, district president of the Clerical Staff Association Education Department. The protesting clerical staff raised slogans against the CEO Udhampur and demanded immediate detachment of the attached teaching staff in the offices of ZEOs and CEO.
Mool Raj Chanayal said that attachment of teaching staff in the various officers of ZEOs as well as office of the CEO Udhampur on one or the other pretext was the sheer violation of instructions issued by the Director School Education, Jammu in this regard. He announced to continue the pen down strike till the detachment of teaching staff.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by Rajinder Singh, Kulbushan Koul, Rajesh Dogra, Sudesh Bharti, Sohan Lal, Mohd Ramzan, Mohd Bashir, Parshotam Kumar, Ankush Sharma and others.
