JAMMU, June 18: A meeting of in-charge cadres of School Education Department was held at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur, State Chairman of SEECC to discuss the latest status of In-charge cadres’ regularization.
All the participants in the meeting expressed resentment for not issuing the regularization orders to 8000 In-charge officers.
They said that no meeting of regularization committee has been convened after March 18 this year by the authorities.
Addressing the participants Thakur appealed to the Governor and Chief Secretary to get the SAC decision and order regarding regularization of all backlog and fresh In-charge officers implemented for those who are not regularized for the last 15 years.
He further said that a five member committee under the chairmanship of Commissioner Secretary School Education Department was also constituted for the purpose while Chief Secretary too had issued directions in this regard to all Administrative Secretaries to regularize all In-charge officers up to April 30, 2019 but nothing has happened in this regard till date.
Speaking on the action all the retired officers, ZEOs, headmasters and lecturers said, if orders of regularization are not issued till June 30 they will organize protests across the State.
