SRINAGAR, Nov 17: Education plays a great part in stability and enhancement of peace.
This was stated by Inspector General of Police (IGP), S M Sahai during Annual Day celebrations of Dolphine International School, Pulwama in collaboration with an NGO Kashmir Creative Environment Foundation at Convocation Hall of University of Kashmir.
The quality of education of the institutes in various rural districts has improved, he said, adding that many institutes have come up providing quality education, as has been seen in the merit list of competitive exams both at State and national levels. He said that the students from rural areas are doing remarkably well.
IGP also distributed mementos and certificates among the meritorious students and teachers on the occasion.
