Education plays key role in casting future of children: Ganga

SAMBA: Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today said that education plays an important role in molding the child’s future in a big way. He said that the time spend by the children’s in the school in a constructive manner helps them to achieve set goals in their coming time and emphasized on the importance of education for a better future.

The Minister said this after inaugurating Shemrock Global Public School at Birpur in presence of MLA Samba Devender Kumar Manyal.

District and Sessions Judge Samba M L Manhas, Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Abdul Majid Bhat, SSP Samba Anil Magotra, CEO Samba O P Bhagat, Additional Secretary School Education Department, Masrat-ul-Islam, faculty members, social activists, parents and students were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganga appreciated the efforts of the school management to bring national level educational institution in the region. He said that it is critical to have a strong educational foundation in early childhood that helps in building a strong base and character of the student.

“The teachers hold immense responsibility in transforming the kids into useful citizens and this process in turn would lead to a strong and powerful India,” Ganga said, adding that the parents and teachers partnership plays a crucial role in shaping the future of students into a well mannered and responsible citizen which needs to be strengthened at all levels.

The Minister stressed for inculcating moral and value based knowledge among students so that they can become a responsible citizen.

Ganga also appreciated the efforts of the school for highlighting “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” scheme by making it admission slogan under which the 50 percent discount being provided to the girl child.

Ganga said the present government ever since it took over has revolutionized the education as priority sector in the state and the results are visible on the ground. He said the coalition government has brought perceptible changes in other sectors of governance too.

Chairman of the school informed the gathering that the institute has CBSE pattern, fully equipped with the state of the art facilities with hi-tech infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the Minister also inaugurated Toilet Complex being constructed by Rural Development Department under ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ at Ramgarh at a cost of Rs 1.80 lakh and Kids Park Preschool at Dashmesh Nagar Khanpur in Vijaypur area of district Samba.
