SRINAGAR, June 11: An educational-cum-motivational tour organised by the Army for youths of Rampur-Boniyar, Baramulla was flagged off.
The tour was flagged off by Colonel AK Srivastava, Officiating Commander, Dagger Artillery Brigade.
During the tour, the youths will visit historical and various places of tourist interest at New Delhi, Guwahati and Shillong.
While speaking, Colonel AK Srivastava said that the tour has a multifarious aim of fostering brotherhood, feeling of unity and creating awareness of nation’s multi faceted identity.
The tour will provide an opportunity to these youths to appreciate the harmonious co-existence amongst the people from different religions in various parts of India, he added.
It will also help them to see the ongoing developmental activities in other states and the manner in which peace has helped different regions of India to develop and prosper, Colonel Srivastava said.
