REASI, June 25: As a part of ongoing Operation Sadbhavana, an educational-cum-motivational tour organised by Rashtriya Rifle Battalion, Bagga under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) was flagged in at Bagga, tehsil Mahore.
The tour comprising of 20 girls and three lady teachers was flagged in by Sector Commander, Headquarter Sector Rashtriya Rifles, Bagga, tehsil Mahore.
The aim of the tour was, to showcase the development of the country to the girl students from the remote and far flung rural areas and also to provide them an opportunity to visit important places of interest and to interact with the people of those regions and also eminent personalities, thereby widening their horizon.
During the tour, participants visited various historical and modern attractions at Bangalore and Chennai. The tour included a visit to the famous Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technical Museum, Bangalore Aquarium, Bangalore Palace, Infosys Campus and Cubban Park at Bangalore. The places visited at Chennai included Government Museum, Marina Beach, Officer’s Training Academy and ITC Hotel Grand Chola.
The touring group also got an opportunity to interact with the students of prestigious schools and colleges of Bangalore and Chennai.
The students displayed a marked desire to work together towards the progress of their State and contribute towards the nation building process.
