Educational institutions celebrate 71st Republic Day with patriotic fervour

JAMMU, Jan 24: Educational institutions celebrated 71st Republic Day with patriotic fervour.
Delhi Public School Jammu celebrated 71st Republic Day. The special assembly started with a patriotic group song presented by the school choir followed by various items including talk on Republic Day, dance item, melodious tune on violin, Patriotic Poem Recitation, etc. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress Meenu Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Modern Montessori International Pre School Jammu celebrated Republic Day. The student took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. Principal Pragya Gupta highlighted the importance of Republic Day. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as children sang patriotic songs and even wore tri coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The tri colour was hosted by the Director of the School Sapna Rohmetra on the occasion. Bhavna Rohmetra Director of school congratulated the staff on the occasion of the Republic Day. The children dressed up in tri-colour performed march past with great enthusiasm. They brought tricolour food from home and shared with their friends. Nursery A presented song “Mera Desh Bharat Mahaan”. Pre Nursery C and Play Group performed on “Sandhesha Aate Hai”. This was followed by performance on “It happens only in India” by Nursery B and Pre Nursery A. Aayan Sanduja from Nursery A presented rhyme “The colours in a flag”. In the last Pre Nursery C performed on “Rising India and Chak De India”.
Indira Public Higher Secondary School Shant Nagar Janipur along with Indira Kids Play Way School celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. Tiny toddlers and students attired in colourful dresses expressed their patriotism by performing on various patriotic songs. Managing Director of the institution Sanjay Padha along with Principal Rashu Padha unfurled the National Flag and threw light on the importance of the day. In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Co-ordinator Primary Wing Renuka Saroch.
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated by the staff and students of Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Jammu. The programme began with unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, Esther William. Various students threw light on the historical importance of this National Day both in prospect and retrospect. In the end, vote of thanks was presented by SK Munshi, School Coordinator.
SGSD International School Domana celebrated Republic Day. The students presented a colourful and musical programme. School Principal Pankaj Jamwal, Manjit Singh, Secretary, Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust, Ravinder Kour, Management Committee members, Balwinder Soni, Administrator, Tejwant Singh, Chairman and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
Republic Day was celebrated at International Delhi Public School Jammu. Patriotic song was presented by the little ones. Kindergarten section also took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of Republic Day by presenting beautiful dance performance, drill and fancy dress representing brave soldiers and freedom fighters.
British International School, Jammu celebrated 71st Republic Day. Chairperson Ravinder Singh, Former Director School Education and teachers enthusiastically gathered for the celebration. Students dressed as freedom fighters participated in various cultural activities. An art exhibition was also held. Singh felicitated the winner of Flag Making Competition. Chairperson of the School, Gita Sharma highlighted the significance of the day.
Mount Litera Zee School, Anand Nagar, Bohri Jammu and its Junior Wing Kidzee celebrated Republic Day in the presence of Chairman Er Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Dr Nitasha Bali, Co-ordinators Radhika Mahajan (MLZS), Anuradha Sharma (Kidzee), staff and students. Principal Dr Nitasha Bali hoisted the National Flag. The students were given demonstration regarding the grand occasion and they actively participated in the celebration by singing group songs, Patriotic songs, National song, solo song and performing dance items. The students and staff delivered the speech regarding this special occasion.
Kidzee Pre School celebrated Republic Day at its branches in Talab Tillo, Gandhi Nagar and Channi Himmat. The function started with National Flag hoisting. The teachers threw light on the importance of this day. The toddlers were dressed up in different costumes depicting great heroes of India. The kids reminded great personalities of India by singing patriotic songs and performing dance.
Euro Toddlers–a Pre School UNO Lane, Talab Tillo celebrated Republic Day. Toddlers attired in Indian Army dress saluted the National Flag. Facilitators along with toddlers presented the patriotic song. Later, Director of Euro Toddlers, Vandana Gupta addressed the toddlers and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be an Indian.
