Educational scenario

Sir,
The Education Department is a vast one and sometimes one thinks that it can be unmanageable  but such is not the case. Various Governments have adopted various schemes to augment the progress in Education Department. This has been done to meet the needs of the ever increasing number of school going children both in rural and urban areas which is really a healthy sign because as per words of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the country can’t become rich without education. So all out efforts have to be made to cope up with the educational advancement. With the taking of educational department by a veteran and vibrant person like Nayeem Ahmad Akhtar some revolutionary steps have been initiated which among other things include transfer policy of teachers, providing infrastructure to the schools, improvement in school syllabi, ban on private tuitions etc. Moreover, the adoption of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Basholi, SP Hr. Sec. School Srinagar by CM and further plan of setting up of 220 model schools will give a fillip to educational setup but needs to be taken further because had the Govt run schools been in a good heatlh, not to speak of affluent people even the people of lower strata would not have sent their wards to Pvt. Schools. It is my firm belief that regular supervision will go a long way in improving the condition of the schools and showing good results. The practice of teachers being deployed in other activities other than teaching such as census collecting various types of data should be stopped so that the teachers get ample time towards their taught. Moreover, the construction of village level committees and block level committees to supervise the functioning of the schools will go a long way in improvement of the schools. If all such measures are adopted fully and intrue spirit, a time will come that all the people will be constrained to send their wards to Govt schoosl rather than private Institutions.
Yours etc…..
