JAMMU, July 31: Jammu and Kashmir Estates Employees Coordination Committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of Nissar Ahmad Wani.
In the meeting, Yashpal Sharma has been elected as Chief Coordinator, While Nissar Ahmed Wani as Coordinator.
Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Satish Kumar, Ghulam Nabi War, Babu, Jeet Raj and Subash Chander have been elected as members.
Later, a deputation led by Yashpaul Sharma held a meeting with Director Estates J&K, Deputy Director Estates Jammu and Srinagar, Executive Engineers Estates Jammu and Srinagar, Assistant Director Estates (Central) and Financial Advisor, Estates Department were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, various demands including re-organization of the Estates Department, holding of DPC and type test of eligible Class-IV Employees, Regularization Daily Rated Workers, Provision of 2-1/2 days pay, settlement of pending cases of SRO-43, construction of staff quarters/additional accommodation of various colonies of Estates Department at Jammu/ Srinagar and construction of buildings for housing of Deputy Director Estates Jammu.
