KATRA, Apr 10: Eeshan S Srivasatava, a student of School of Architecture, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, won the 1st prize in national level Birla White Yuva Ratna Students’ Design Competition, organized by Aditya Birla Group for the students of Architecture Institutions of India.
This year design brief focused around the design and development of proposed entrance complex cum plaza at Amravati. Eeshan submitted his proposal under the faculty mentorship of Ar Anoop Sharma, which highlighted the effective depiction of the interface between the river and the land, clear segregation of vehicular and pedestrian movement at two different levels.
Students from all across the country including various well established Architecture Schools participated in this national level competition.
Eeshan was awarded cash prize of Rs 25,000/- in the Award Ceremony held at ‘The Lalit-Mumbai’. Rajshree Birla was the chief guest of the Award Ceremony.
